About the Sales Operations Manager role

The Sales Operations and Strategy Manager ensures operational excellence across marketing and sales, helping to generate insights from data to ensure we’re focused on the highest growth strategic market opportunities. You’ll begin by developing an understanding of the sales and lead generation processes, as well as our current tools to ensure we are focusing on key metrics and continuously improving. You’ll also create automated, best in class dashboards that keep our teams aligned and progressing against goals, updating senior management with essential information, and administering our customer-facing systems including our CRM.

With that as a foundation, you will be partnering with senior leadership to help identify growth strategies based upon market and data analysis. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing to help them thrive in fast-growing and changing markets. The Sales Operations and Strategy Manager will provide insights to identify growth initiatives, including assessing market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving business planning processes. You’ll fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. This may include incorporating new sources of data and integrating them into our decision making. You will help drive planning, goal setting, expansion plans, and managing the rhythm of the business activities, such as periodical business reviews, pipeline and forecast calls, and other reporting and metrics.

About you and what type of skills you’ll need:

  • MBA strongly preferred.

  • 3 years of experience in Sales or Marketing Operations, Sales Strategy, Finance, or Management Consulting.

  • Experience working with senior-level clients or stakeholders.

  • Experience with data sets, synthesizing insights, and recommending actions from data.

  • Strong writing and analysis skills.

  • You can research, dig beyond what’s on the surface, and uncover the truth.

  • You are inherently curious and ask a lot of questions and bring a growth mindset to all you do.
