About the Role

The Strategic PMM owns the market strategy for one 7Vals product. You are the person who understands the customer, the market, and the competition better than anyone else in the business and you turn that understanding into recommendations that improve positioning, go-to-market execution, pipeline quality, product adoption, and revenue.

You'll also help build 7Vals AI-first product marketing operating system: structured product knowledge, reusable PMM Skills, and agent workflows that reduce manual work across the team.

This is a strategic ownership role, not an asset-production or task-execution role. You don't wait for a task list  you determine what the product needs next and bring the business evidence-based recommendations to act on.

What You'll Do

Own product marketing strategy. Build and drive the product marketing roadmap. Identify the highest-impact market, customer, competitive, pricing, and positioning opportunities, make the case for action, and align stakeholders to execute.

Define the ICP and segmentation. Use customer research, pipeline data, win/loss analysis, and product usage to determine where the business should focus and ensure the ICP drives campaign targeting, website messaging, sales qualification, pricing, and product priorities.

Own positioning and messaging. Define who the product is for, what problem it solves, why 7Vals wins, and what evidence backs the claims then ensure that narrative shows up consistently across the website, campaigns, sales conversations, and customer proof.

Drive competitive intelligence. Maintain a clear view of the competitive landscape and turn it into action: sharper positioning, better sales guidance, smarter product priorities, and higher competitive win rates.

Shape commercial and funnel strategy. Diagnose pipeline quality, ICP alignment, trial activation, and where momentum is lost and influence the fixes across marketing, sales, and product.

Lead go-to-market for launches and growth initiatives. Define the audience, value proposition, narrative, proof, sales story, and measurement plan  then evaluate performance and iterate.

Enable sales. Build the narratives, talk tracks, competitive guidance, and objection handling that make sales conversations more confident and consistent. Success is measured by adoption and better customer conversations, not asset volume.

Build customer and market intelligence systems. Turn fragmented signals  interviews, sales calls, win/loss, usage data, reviews into patterns, insights, and decisions.

Build AI-first PMM systems. Keep your product's knowledge base accurate, structured, and usable (context libraries, messaging frameworks, competitive repositories, proof libraries). Convert your expertise into reusable AI-enabled Skills and agent workflows win/loss analysis, interview synthesis, competitive research, messaging evaluation that lift the whole team.

Lead cross-functionally. Represent the market and customer in product and business decisions. Bring recommendations, challenge weak assumptions, and move teams to action.
