We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our product documentation team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex product functionality into clear, accurate, and user friendly documentation. You will work closely with Product Managers, Customer Success, Support, and Engineering teams to create documentation that improves product adoption, reduces friction for users, and keeps our knowledge resources current as the product evolves.

This is a specialist role focused on product documentation only. It is best suited for someone with a strong technical foundation and proven experience documenting SaaS products.
 

Role Overview

As a Technical Writer at 7Vals, you will own and produce high quality documentation that enables users to understand, adopt, and use our products effectively. Your work will include release notes, getting started guides, feature walkthroughs, user manuals, migration guides, knowledge base content, and other product documentation assets.

You should be comfortable understanding technical concepts, asking the right questions, working with cross functional teams, and turning detailed product information into structured, accessible documentation for different user audiences.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a writer who is not only strong with language, but also strong with product thinking. The ideal candidate understands how software works, can absorb technical details quickly, and knows how to produce documentation that is useful, structured, and easy for customers to follow.

They should be comfortable working on documentation that directly supports product adoption and customer success, rather than general marketing content.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer for a SaaS product
• Proven experience creating product documentation such as release notes, help center articles, user guides, walkthroughs, and migration or implementation guides
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand software products, workflows, integrations, and system behavior
• Excellent written English with strong command over grammar, clarity, and structure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience working with cross functional product and engineering teams
• Ability to independently research product functionality and ask precise questions to fill documentation gaps
• Ability to manage multiple documentation tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience documenting B2B SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with agile product development environments
• Experience using documentation or knowledge base tools to write, manage, and publish content
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, English, or a related field
