Role Overview

We’re looking for an IT Content Creator to build 7Vals’ visibility and credibility with IT leaders across global markets. This role focuses on creating authentic, high-impact content rooted in real IT experience designed to resonate with IT decision-makers across channels they actively engage with, including LinkedIn, YouTube, podcasts, and professional communities.

You will act as a trusted voice for IT audiences, translating real-world IT challenges, workflows, and insights into engaging content that builds awareness, trust, and inbound demand.

You’ll collaborate with marketing, product, and AI teams to create content that reflects how IT teams actually operate covering areas like ITAM, ITSM, Patch Management, and CMDB. This is not a traditional marketing or writing role; it requires someone who understands IT environments and can communicate with authority and credibility.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building in public, engaging with communities, and shaping thought leadership in fast-evolving IT and AI-driven environments.

AI-powered creator: Uses AI tools effectively to accelerate research, ideation, scripting, and content production—while maintaining quality and authenticity.

Outcome-driven: Focused on building visibility, credibility, and inbound interest—not just publishing content. Measures success through engagement, reach, and audience trust.

Key Responsibilities

Build Thought Leadership & Content Presence Create and publish high-quality content across LinkedIn, video, podcasts, and IT communities. Develop a consistent voice that reflects real IT challenges, trends, and solutions.

Engage with IT Communities Actively participate in discussions across platforms (LinkedIn, Reddit, Slack/Discord groups, etc.). Build relationships with IT leaders through meaningful engagement in comments, DMs, and forums.

Develop Multimedia Content Research, script, record, and publish content including short-form posts, long-form insights, videos, and podcast episodes. Host and collaborate with IT leaders and industry experts.

Represent 7Vals in the Market Attend and represent 7Vals at industry events, conferences, and meetups. Build visibility and connections within the IT ecosystem.

Scale Content with AI & Collaboration Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, AI content teams) to turn insights into scalable, reusable content assets. Ensure content remains authentic while leveraging AI for efficiency.

Drive Measurable Impact Contribute to growth in brand visibility, community presence, and inbound signals from IT decision-makers. Continuously refine content based on engagement and feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, MSP, or ITSM/ITAM-related roles
  • Proven, verifiable content footprint (LinkedIn, YouTube, podcast, articles, or similar)
  • Strong on-camera presence and written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of IT workflows, tools, and decision-making processes
  • Proficiency in using AI tools (LLMs) for content creation and research
  • Strong judgment for high-quality, audience-relevant content
  • Ability to engage and build credibility within professional communities
  • Willingness to travel for events and conferences (~15–20%)

Nice to Have

  • Existing audience (e.g., engaged LinkedIn following or content subscriber base)
  • Experience publishing on recognized IT platforms or communities
  • Familiarity with IT tools such as ITAM, ITSM, or related systems
  • Experience running podcasts, webinars, or video series
  • Exposure to SaaS, enterprise software, or product-led environments
