Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Intern to join our IT team. This internship offers hands-on experience in end-user IT support, device management, software deployment, and basic networking. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a good technical foundation, and is passionate about building a career in Information Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the IT team with day-to-day end-user IT support and device management activities.
- Provide first-level technical support to end users.
- Support basic troubleshooting of Windows and macOS operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity issues under supervision.
- Assist with software installation, system updates, and routine maintenance activities.
- Assist in monitoring network connectivity and support IT infrastructure under supervision.
- Maintain technical documentation, IT asset inventory, and system records.
- Support ongoing IT infrastructure and technology projects.
- Log, track, and update support requests using the IT ticketing system.
- Follow IT policies, procedures, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, software installation, and system maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of cloud applications and identity management is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
